MULTIPLE SCLEROSIS - Help, Support, Information
MS People UK is for people with Multiple Sclerosis or for those who suspect they have Multiple Sclerosis but are not yet diagnosed, as well as for friends, families, supporters and those interested in this disabling condition.
The main area is the Forum where members share their experiences, discuss the problems sometimes encountered when trying to get a diagnosis, ask each other about the benefits or side-effects of the various treatments available, compare and ask about symptoms, offer support and tips, tell their stories.
Members also chat about a variety of subjects not related to MS, as well as share jokes, talk about their hobbies, have fun, plus more.
Blogs are written by members, describing their daily lives with MS.
The atmosphere is friendly and fun whilst being compassionate, supportive and caring.
There is an extensive directory of resources and links to sites about symptoms, methods of diagnosis, treatments including the Disease Modifying Drugs (Avonex, Betaferon, Copaxone, Rebif) and LDN, conditions that mimic or are similar to MS, benefits and allowances, and much more.
Also included are regular news feeds relating to MS.
We are endorsed by the MS Trust.
The “MS People UK” mailing list is a discussion list at Yahoo! Groups set up by the MS Trust, with myself as moderator and led by its members, whose experience covers the spectrum of life with MS.
