Thoughts from my bed.......

Posted by Crafty Cow , 31 October 2013 · 948 views

So...... Here I am, need to ramble, not so much rant, as I don't think I have the energy for a rant right now.

After a week or so of feeling 'good' and almost normal (although, that's subjective, as I have not really been normal since my discs prolapsed around two years ago) I have tried, during this 'normal' period to be as active...

Well, a right old week it's been.  Just feel like I need a moan! Sorry.

You have been warned, so you can stop reading now lol.

Started with a really slight cold last week, nothing to write home about, but I was shocked at how it affected everything else.

By Friday, my balance started to become more if an issue than normal, all the usual...

Today is my daughters tenth birthday. Around this time is a busy birthday time for me, five birthdays in six weeks, my hubby's and my kids. My eldest son was 23 last week the same day as my hubby. Early this morning,  woke around the same time as Nadia was born, 6.14 am. I lay there amidst the calmness of the  house and closed my eyes trying to go back...

What a weekend!

Posted by Crafty Cow , 14 July 2013 · 500 views

Well it's been a funny old weekend, and I lost twenty four hours of my life I will never get back!

Friday started a bit iffy, had a niggle in the base of my skull, walking was a bit off, but it has been for a few weeks now. Took Molly to preschool, went down to the town centre for some bread, bumped I to a friend and had coffe then got the bus...

World MS day

Posted by Crafty Cow , 29 May 2013 · 231 views

Well, as you are all probably more than aware, it's world MS day today.
This time last MS day, it was two little letters that never entered my vocabulary, but each day, I am, like all of us learning just how much two little letters can cause so many problems. Just when you think everything is going well, along it comes and kicks your legs from under...

Talking rubbish

Posted by Crafty Cow , 14 May 2013 · 349 views

I have noticed if late I talk even more rubbish than normal.......telling Sammy to go and get the post office out of the kitchen, rather than saying pot towel.....this is just one example. But not a day goes by without this happening regularly....does anyone else have this?

Sinking back!

Posted by Crafty Cow , 10 May 2013 · 467 views

Been a bit quiet on here of late, mainly due to some new found energy and zest for life for a few days.

Don't get me wrong, I still hit the low at the end of the day and had some very early nights, but on the whole I have felt pretty good! Even my back pain disappeared as a result of the steroids which was marvelous!

But all good things must...

The day after the night before

Posted by Crafty Cow , 04 May 2013 · 423 views

After a course of steroids and feeling really well, I decided that last night, after months of having no social life, that me and my hubby would go out for a nice meal and a few drinks with my sister in law and her hubby.

Woke this morning feeling not to bad. Went downstairs and within ten minutes I feel like hell! The tremors in my right hand are...

I have been conducting a little experiment over the last few days.

I have noticed my conversation is at times no better than my three year olds, especially when I am having a bad day. Alongside tremors and feeling shattered, I can't string a sentence together without saying 'what's that word?'.

Anyway, I am a bit of a sad case, but I love...
