Hey all

I want to run something past you all.

For the last week or so I have been waking up feeling sick. It's sitting in the back of my throat and I just can't get rid of it. Nothing seems to be stopping it either and it is driving me mad.

I am on Gabapentin, Zomorph and Diclofenic.

Any ideas?

(oh and I'm not preggers, have been sterilised)

Hi Any Ideas? Well the best for nauea is THC compounds as far as I know. Boy, those drugs sound scary. They must have a special name department for this. Now to really find something that will not only take care of nausea, constipation and many other pain, etc. issues is EFT. www.emofree.com and there are a lot of good instructions on YouTube. Gary Craig is the best to look for. But most are very good as the physical process is easy and mainly the same. Love.

Hi Hon,
I went through a period a while back of feeling sick all the time. I was also feeling giddy. It turned out that I had an ear infection and my MS Nurse suspected that it had triggered a mild bout of nausea.

My nurse had suggested trying travel sickness pills and said if that didn't work to ask my GP to prescribe stemetil. TBH I can't remember if I had the stemetil or not think.gif but I know we managed to do something to solve it. Have a chat with your GP or nurse hon and see if there's anything they can suggest.

I would hazard a guess that it's the drug combinations. Diclofenac itself can cause stomach problems and any drug that contains morphine has the potential for nausea and vomiting as a main side effect. Might be worth discussing with your GP, who could prescribe something to counteract.

Ah brilliant thank you.

I've not been on the Diclofenic for that long so it may well make sense.
I shall speak to my doctor and run it past him.

I was given a drug called, omeprazole to take alongside the Diclofenic. This med helps guard against ulcers.
