Hello All,

My name is Claire and I would like to introduce myself to you all. I am researcher at Northumbria University's Department of Psychology, and I am working on an e-health project looking at online patient/personal experiences and how they may influence health decision making. The project is part of a £2m grant from the National Institute for Health Research, and we are partnering with other universities, including the University of Oxford, Warwick, Sheffield, and Stirling (for more information about the project please see http://www.ipexonline.org/).

I contacted MS People UK as you are a community of people who go online and read/share your experiences online. You are the people we would be very interested in speaking to. For our current study at Northumbria, we are interested in people who care for someone with multiple sclerosis (MS), who have experience of using the internet, and are aged between 18-75 years to take part in our study.

If this is you and you are interested in finding out more about the study, please contact me at claire2.hardy@northumbria.ac.uk or the details below. Participants will be paid £20 for taking part to cover any costs incurred with being involved.

Thank you for your time and I look forward to speaking with some of you.

Claire
