Hi,

My name's Anna and I am a PhD student at the University of Manchester. I am looking for adults with MS to take part in my study. This study does require you to attend a testing session at the University of Manchester but you will be reimbursed £15 for your time. This study has been approved by an NHS ethics committee.

The first part of the study involves some simple hearing assessment tests (you are not required to do anything). The second part involves attaching four small electrodes to your forehead, behind your ear and the lower part of your neck (this is completely painless). We then ask you to relax or sleep in a private, sound-proof booth whilst we record your brain's response to different sounds. This is a very easy study for participants as you are not required to do anything physically or mentally demanding.

If you would like more information please email me at anna.terry@postgrad.manchester.ac.uk

Many thanks,

Anna

Hello Anna,

I'm afraid I'm a long way from Machester so won't be able to take up the invitation.

Good luck with your study however.
