Following on form the huge success of my London to Brighton cycling ordeal last September, I feel that I should do something to raise funds for MS in the coming year. I would like to do it for the Trust this time, just to spread it around a bit.

I am not sure what yet. For me cycling is the easier option, I know that despite being one of the UK 100,000 special people, I can still turn the pedals.

In fact I am looking at doing the Peterborough 100 as a warm up event. I won't be actively fund raising for this. It is a good charity, but I want to focus on the MS ones, for obvious reasons.

I have seen some open swimming events. Now that really would be a challenge, but we shall see.

If anyone has any ideas, do let me know.

But no running, I can't do that.

If anyone else is going to do something then please let me and everyone else know.

And finally.

Merry Christmas and a happy new year.

We're just two lost souls swimming in a fish bowl, year after year,

Running over the same old ground.

What have we found?

The same old fears.

Getting pushed out of a plane @ 10,000 feet is do-able!

Have a great Xmas, Paul.

With my fear of heights????

I was thinking something that involved laying on a beach in Lanzarote. As if.
