Hi!

My name is Sarah and I am conducting a study as part of my final year work at the University of Dundee.

Multiple Sclerosis is a huge part of my life, as my dad has been diagnosed for around 6 years. Therefore I decided to study the use and experience of online support groups among people with MS.

The study involves one 20 minute online interview session, to discuss how you found out about the group, your use, your support outside the group and any ways in which you would change them if you could. Any data collected will be stored anonymously and questions may be skipped at any point.

I am looking for people to interview from online groups, between the ages of 20 and 70. If you are interested in helping me out, please email me at:

sbickley at dundee.ac.uk.

Thanks!!

About Us

Founded in 2004, MS People UK is a community website and discussion forum by and for people with Multiple Sclerosis as well as for friends, families, supporters and those interested in this disabling condition.

If you’re newly diagnosed or want to ask about possible first symptoms, or if you’ve had Relapse Remit, Secondary or Primary Progressive MS for some time, a welcoming group of fellow MS sufferers is here to chat with you about MS symptoms, diagnosis and treatments.

The atmosphere is friendly whilst being compassionate, supportive and caring. Members also post about a variety of subjects not related to MS, as well as share jokes, talk about their hobbies, have fun, and more.
