Is this a thing? I definitely get it in concentrated periods of a few weeks. It's as if the wires to words are missing and my very clever brain just sticks another in that's relatively random but not always. I'll be saying 'it's in the kitchen', and 'it's in the garden' will come out absolutely seamlessly. My children have noticed.
I'm managing to catch most before they come out now - it's all a learning curve - and hesitate while my brain finds a new pathway to the word I want. I usually go through three or four before I get there - triumphant!
Otherwise my symptoms have been quiet since April, apart from the ball of my right foot, which is painful, sore and hurts to walk on, with shooting pains into my midsole. It was hurting before I climbed out of bed, so it's not just from walking in heels (I had trainers on the last few days).
hi, i have only joined the forum today. My sister has MS, has for 7 years. She has been in denial for years, coped very well, still working, socialising etc,. but i have seen a change recently. Yesterday she told me that she has very blurred vision, and has had it for over a year without telling anybody. at times it can be very bad, virtual blindness.. she described it as feeling as though the sun is shining straight onto your eyes, just a huge bright light, and she an see outlines of people, or prominent features.. but she is still driving.. she is too scared to tell anybody, incase she loses her license, and then her job etc,.. ive looked up the prognosis of her symtptons, but can only find the optic neurosis?? which doesnt really describe her symptoms because she had had them for a long time/permanent.. and evryone seems to only suffer the blurred vision temporarily, so im lost.. does anyone else here suffer with symptoms similar to my sister.. she has never had any medication, she has been abandoned by the nhs since diagnosis.. theyve bascially told her there is no help, just management,, but ive heard that steroids can help the vision problems, and that some medication can slow down the deterioration of the disease.. can anyone help me?? im not sure what to do next!
I don't know if we have covered this or not, but for quite some time I have been having trouoble with writing or typing messages. I'm finding that I continually miss out words, when I write or type, in my head I write everything down but then when I read it back to check I've missed words. It's the strangest feeling because in my mind I remember typing them but then when I check they are not there, does that make sense  I also spell words wrong, for example I'll maybe type the word when, but it comes out as hwen or something like that, again when I'm typing it, it's correct in my head but then when I double check I can see it's wrong.
It's really freaking me out, does anyone else have this problem or something similiar?
DD xx
