my partner, myself and suzie stroller,my rolloator were walking home,we walked across a empty carpark as a short cut.then noticed a group of lads playing a mad game of footie.they saw us approaching picked up their ball and waited to we were across the carpark they were I guess about 17 yrs old.that small act of thoughtfulness did touch me,did thank them a few times and we got a smile back in return. young people get such bad press these days and was lovely to be on the receiving end of a little thoughtfulness. xx

that's great sharron

as a mum of two sons i get a bit defensive when people start tarring them all with the same brush.

appreciation will lead to more things to appreciate - well thats my theory!

That's so nice Sharron.

Like you and Carole I have two sons 25 and 26 and they have never been anything than kind and caring to all old and young. I too get very cross with the dirty looks they have always had to put up with from some when out and about with us.
