Hi Marina,

thankyou for correcting my first post, by taking out the crossing out lines. I dont know how they happened. can you tell me how to avoid it happening again please?

Also, how do I make my `mood` stick? I found out to choose one, but couldnt make it stick.

Sorry to post these questions as a new topic, but i cant see any other way to ask.

I am 60+ and not very techy skilled!

Hi Poll

To get your mood just click on the no mood box above the back to the top box on your bloke's face Lol!! and it will let you choose a mood. Really good Poll. Good to chat with you on here.

Also there is a How to bit on the Home page that will give you lots of ideas on how to do things.

Hi Polly, and a big WELCOME from me too :hippy:

When in the typing box (aka "editor"), if you highlight whatever you want to format, then hit the appropriate button in the toolbar, it will perform that action on the highlighted text. In your case, it would seem you somehow accidently highlighted everything in your post and then hit the button marked in red below:

Forum-StrikeThrough.gif

The "StrikeThrough" feature is a way of deleting a word or phrase you didn't mean to say. It's often used in a jokey way, but I can't right now think of an example as I'm shit for brains having an MS fart moment right now...

For adding a mood, Shazzie has explained one easy way: hit the grey button under your name on the left of any post you've made, where it says "No Mood" and it will bring up the choice of moods. Another way is to hit the nearly invisible (!) image of a monkey at the top right of any page, next to the "Sign out" button, as marked in red below:

Forum_Moods.gif

Having chosen a mood, don't forget to hit the big red button at the bottom to "Save" it.

Hi Poll,

Never thought Boudica would need help from anyone - But l suppose these 'techi' things will be new to her. Get those 'blades' onto your wheels - and show all on here what you are made of. Many of us have had the priviledge of knowing and admiring you for some time. So welcome welcome welcome.

Love the new Avatar - and will be interested if they have a 'mood' suitable for our esteemed friend.

love Fx

About Us

Founded in 2004, MS People UK is a community website and discussion forum by and for people with Multiple Sclerosis as well as for friends, families, supporters and those interested in this disabling condition.

If you’re newly diagnosed or want to ask about possible first symptoms, or if you’ve had Relapse Remit, Secondary or Primary Progressive MS for some time, a welcoming group of fellow MS sufferers is here to chat with you about MS symptoms, diagnosis and treatments.

The atmosphere is friendly whilst being compassionate, supportive and caring. Members also post about a variety of subjects not related to MS, as well as share jokes, talk about their hobbies, have fun, and more.
