Funny,

There was a story i read where a single father didn't have enough money to feed his kids and decided to look for alternatives. He found that dog food had all the necessary nutrients in it for his kids to be healthy, so fed them that. The kids are adults now and one still can't face eating human food, but she cooks human food for her kids now.

When I was a kid, I had just fed my cat some dry cat food and I had a bowl of nuts and bolts for myself. My sister hit me and I started crying. Anyway, I wondered why my nuts and bolts were on the floor, so I picked up the bowl and starting eating it. Then I spat them out, didn't taste awful, it just didn't taste like the nuts and bolts. Hahaha, I realized I was eating cat food.

Yes!

Wifey didn't notice the Felix incident, but am obviously very apparent with my scatter brain! So she's booking me off for a health check! Do any of you seem to have cognitive issues? That the other half has noticed?

Hi moo me,

Lots of MS folk, me included, experience cognitive issues. You might find a browse around the MS Trust's Staying Smart website useful: http://www.stayingsmart.org.uk

Thankfully my dogs eat dried food so, even on my fuzziest days, I'm unlikely to cook that up for dinner!!

I remember when my cat was sick and wouldn't eat, the vet told me to microwave her food, it smelt more warm...... from experiencing the smell of warmed-up cat food, I'm pretty confident you wouldn't have eaten any! :squiffy:

Just the thought is making me heave...urgghh!

The one thing I hated when pregnant was feeding the cat first thing at morning before going to work. I literally had to make it my last job in that room so I could hold my breathe and vacate it promptly before yakking completely. Very unpleasant! Lol x

well today,

i seem very weird, my arms and legs seem to just move (jolt) with no cause?? not often but it does happen!

these so called symptoms i have asked about in PM but one could apparently be what you all know as the hug seems to be really apparent for the past few days?

Now i honestly can't see MS as a reason as i have not been suspected of, or having, as in medical opinions have been ruled out of MS. but i don't trust anyone been from a medical background myself!

whilst i have some similarities i can't honestly say i have demyelination.

if this is the case i seem to get off very lightly compare to some on here!

so its very difficult!

:lolsign: No, not really! Subtract 1,000,000 for my more modest actual total. If you look at Scully's you'll notice she is the same. It's a quirk of us Moderators

    • Just weird!

Hey all, not ms I think?   thought I would try here as I know from experience you are all familiar with very strange neurological goings on and don't know who else to ask! Also, well it's driving me absolutely mad!!!   I seem to have an ms mimic but not sure what yet?   started having spouts of numbness in neck and legs, weird twitches in arms, and sensory issues in areas I would rather not have or discuss!   First neuro appoint was interesting and after brisk reflexes and a babinski sign they put me in an mri for 50 mins! But the report came back nothing spectacular, but one or two dots of high signal! Also Bloods came back normal but with slight positive ANA however, I do have ranaulds! Also slight scoliosis, reversal of cervical lordosis and degenerative disk disease in my L spine blah blah blah!   So was so was reassured and sent back to my GP!   But now? recently I seem to elicit clonus in my ankles by accident! Had what feels like ants crawling down my arms and shooting pain down my legs, tingling in my toes and hypertonic leg muscles?? So it seems my silly weird symptoms are flaring up again without explanation!   And I feel I'm going mad and no one understands?   Hoping you can relate and help me get to the bottom of this!   M

    • weird sensation over body when drying hair

Hi, I don't know why but I've just noticed that when I'm drying my hair (quite vigourosly) I'm getting weird tingly sensations all over my body. I can replicate whenever I rub my scalp.   Has anyone else ever experienced this ?   Steve

    • Relapse? But getting weird sensations

Hi All   Just a quick query. I think I'm in a relapse as I had some instanced of vertigo two weeks ago (had about 4 -5 episodes all in one morning with nausea and vomiting). Saw the MS nurse the next day and can't find anything so are thinking it may not be MS related. Now I have double vision when I wake up (seems to sort itself out I think) but I also have blurry vision in the left eye. The hospitlal don't think it's serious enough to prescribe steroids and say I should let it run its course.   That I can handle. I have my stick to help with walking since balance is all off and I'm able to get to work fine. But the worrying one is this. Does anyone know why the right side of my tongue feels numb and why food and drink tastes so wrong? I tried some chocolate as I fancied some but after two squares I had to put it away as it tasted revolting.   Any ideas?

    • Anyone had a weird feeling in there head

Because twice with in an hour it happened to me, i was really worried. Also i was asleep and my body jerked, woke me up yesterday morning and my hip was hurting and still is. My doctor said today that these are ms symptoms and have to make appointment in 3 weeks when he will have had my mri results.
