Jen,

I will try to help you with any abbreviations if I can. What abbreviations do you mean?

I do not know of a list anywhere on the forum that shows any abbreviations, but maybe there should be, I had never thought about it before now.

Take care and best wishes,

Ron

I have foound a list on the site (eventually) called abreviations...it has a list of about 10...By Gaynor....Which is good

the only problem is i cannot reply to it???? and SO NO ONE can add onto it ( i.e. update it ) or ask about other abreviations!!!

I would have posted :howdy: what does "EDSS" stand for ?

when i find the others...I hope I can ask your advice again Ron... if that's okay

thanks

Jen,

I will look at the post again (if I can find it!) but the reason you may not be able to reply is if it has been put in a section that is 'Read Only'. Maybe it should be moved elsewhere and then it could be added to by anyone.

The other alternative is to mail a moderator and they could ammend the original posting to include any new abbreviations.

I cannot remember what EDSS stands for (my brain is in neutral again today!) but think it is a scale to measure the degree a person is disabled.

Please feel free to ask any questions whatsoever. I cannot promise to be able to answer them, but will do what I can, or know how to.

Take care and best wishes,

Ron :howdy:

About Us

Founded in 2004, MS People UK is a community website and discussion forum by and for people with Multiple Sclerosis as well as for friends, families, supporters and those interested in this disabling condition.

If you’re newly diagnosed or want to ask about possible first symptoms, or if you’ve had Relapse Remit, Secondary or Primary Progressive MS for some time, a welcoming group of fellow MS sufferers is here to chat with you about MS symptoms, diagnosis and treatments.

The atmosphere is friendly whilst being compassionate, supportive and caring. Members also post about a variety of subjects not related to MS, as well as share jokes, talk about their hobbies, have fun, and more.
