Hi Mabs,

Welcome to the forum.

There will be people here who can probably better explain your results than me, really you need the expert opinion of a neurologist to interoperate the results. I'm wondering if you have a forthcoming appointment to see a specialist? This is what you need. Conditions such as MS can often be difficult to diagnose and while at present you are in limbo( and boy, do we know what that feels like) this is a time when you can be helpful to yourself and gather information about all your symptoms. Jotting these down and making a short list before you go to see a specialist will be very useful. You should also think of all the questions you want to ask. Its a really tough time right now but please don't use Dr Google to much!!

The forum here is quiet at the moment but it is a brilliant place for support so don't hesitate to ask questions.

Hello Mabs,

MRI's can only really be read by specialists. There are many reasons for abnormalities on brain scans, and lesions can be seen in normal aging, and vascular problems too.

Plate changes can be normal wear and tear in the bones of the spine.

They could also be indicative of MS. So, as Nick says, you can only really know what these mean when you re- visit the neurologist who can interpret the results.

Do you have your follow up appointment booked?
