Thanks Ann - that is why I picked it thinking of the 'dawn' or 'sunrise'. It seemed the only one appropriate and I noticed everyone was picking avatars and I didn't want to be left out.

Enjoy your outing.

Speak soon

Well done Teddy, hope that hasn't caused matting of your stuffing!

My Grandad used to say that to me when I was little, after he's said it to me he used to pat his finger on my nose, so treat this as a pat on your snout.:huggles:

Hi Shirley, hi Ron

That one has shattered my dreams now because I always thought it was a romantic one that meant:

Two eyes you are

Two eyes you be

I see you are two eyes for me.

Oh well, never mind. I feel like I felt when I found out there was no Father Christmas!!!

Lots of love

Dawn

Hi Dawn,

Apologies for the long delay in replying to your message, I just saw it tonight.

I do not know who told you there was no Father Christmas, he certainly comes to visit me..............I even take the newspaper out the chimney for him on Christmas Eve so he can come here. My stocking is always out and there is a glass of milk and some biscuits for him.

I get a visit from the tooth fairy more often than Santa, she used to leave a sixpence, but now it is a little more. I guess that is because I am getting older and my teeth are worth more now!

Take care and best wishes,

Ron

Oh yippee, thanks Ron. I feel much better now knowing some nasty person was just winding me up by saying there was no Father Christmas. :funny:

Mind you, he never leaves me anything. Maybe I'm just not good enough in the run-up to Christmas to deserve anything. :crying:

As for the tooth fairy - can't remember the last time I had a visit from her. But maybe that's a good thing. Can't afford to lose my teeth, haven't got enough, only 27 and I think I'm supposed to have 32!!

Well thanks for making me happier.

Take care

Love Dawn
