Hi all

I'm wondering what the different member categories are all about? Some are called "Newbies", some "Advanced" and some have reached a nirvana world and are, oh wow, "Elite"! What's it all about? Is it to do with length of time of membership? or no. of posts? Is it chosen by The Forum Authorities or can we just decide when to promote ourselves upwards? (or downwards?) Is it to do with some secret exam that's still lying in wait?

I'm sitting here trembling about that possibility, exactly as I did at school, but would rather know about scary things coming than not...

I've never discussed this with Marina, Ann, so I could be wrong, but...

It seems to be mainly based on the number of posts made, certainly not on time because I only joined in early September. The one noticable exception to that theory is Simon, who only seems to have made one post, but there are reasons for that, as you may know - If not, try talking to Marina.

Hmmm, back to this topic - I think you probably become an Elite member when you have posted 100 posts. Please correct me if I'm wrong Marina. But if I am right, oh joy, oh joy :bye::bye: - only 7 more posts to go for me and I will become an Elite member :cheers::cheers:

Hmmm, I'll have to try to think of plenty to say now.

Not sure about that Angela, but I don't think you'll be long before becoming Elite cos I've noticed that some of your posts just have one or two words on them (possibly when you've then been cut off) and then you go on to post another to complete it - so all those one or two-worded posts will count. :clapping::clapping::clapping:

Hi Lula, :clapping:

I'm sure you really are elite, but I'm sad to see the passing of your rear avatar. The new one is nowhere near the mark.

There is no "Super Elite" I'm afraid...

HOWEVER.... there is an easter egg (so to speak), something you can do yourself, but you need to hunt for it... :clapping::clapping::clapping:

I shall be looking as time permits Marina, anything that I can do to myself has to be worth searching for. :whistling:
