Tingles across shoulders, neck and upper back

Anyone else get these?  All other symptoms I've had in the last year have been new ones with old ones not appearing much at all.  This might be another one.  I get tingles, a bit like buzzing but not quite, across my shoulders and neck. Had it twice recently.  Lasts about five minutes.  It's not the shivers.

@Happymama , it's not easy determining what is MS and what is not MS. And, whether or not you should be concerned. But, over the course of time, you will become more comfortable at untangling that conundrum.

I've had them again.  Might be now in an episode.  Stumbler I'm not Dx. Just suspicious.  I've had other new symptoms affecting my walking. What do I have to suffer to get to see a ruddy neurologist?

@Happymama ,it's down to your GP, as your Primary Care Provider, to refer you to a Specialist if they are not able to treat your symptoms. This Specialist may well be a Neurologist.

Yes, well, I've tried that already and it didn't go to well ...

@Happymama , it's the only route open to you, unless you consider complaining or changing Doctors, which aren't really recommended courses of action.

 

You need a full list of all your symptoms, to pass or relate to your Doctor, and ask for an explanation!

I did last time, all written down and she sent that to the neuro that lied to me..  Lots of new ones, now, and I had a phone conversation with my GP and she said she would look for another neuro as I'm clearly worse.  But that was last year in the spring, before Covid.  If I ring now I'll still be waiting for months, poss years what with Covid and backlogs.  What chance of a Dx before 2024?  Not much.

@Happymama , don't be so pessimistic. Covid-19 is now becoming manageable, so the rest of the NHS is returning to some level of normality.

40,000 ops outstanding.  My GP still only working on phone calls.

@Happymama , life needs to continue, despite these figures plastered in the news.

 

Your GP may be able to contemplate a way forward for you without the need for a physical examination.

 

You just don't know until you try..............

Tingling again, like an old friend. Right between the shoulder blades high up behind my neck.   Not had anything else for ages now.  Here's waiting ...

It's the usual suggestions for a remedy, rest and relaxation and why not some pampering too. You're worth it.

Hi.  It just comes on. Had it once since.  Everything been very quiet now.

@Happymama , it's the day after Boxing Day, so we're just about getting through to the end of Christmas! This must be one of the most stressful times of the year for the fairer sex. You ladies make Christmas happen.

 

If things have remained quiet over this period, the you must be doing well. Just New Year to go......

Hi there John.  Christmas was nice and relaxed, thanks!  .  Kids at their dad's Xmas eve till about 11 on Xmas morning, by the time they arrive the table is laid, the turkey is half cooked, the veg are ready and I've had a preprandial sherry or two.  We had quite a lot to drink but not as much as on NYE.  

 

I've come out of the lactulose thing after two years of absolutely needing it which is rather nice.  Only a few random pains in my feet to bother me, electric mostly.  But in new places.
