:hello: & :welcome2:Carole, from not so little me. I've been DX since 1990. I have had various symptoms since age 9. Unfortunately not worked since 1992. I was a part time Baptist pastor till 1994 in a small Baptist church in the SRoSY.

(Socialist Republic of South Yorkshire). I moved down to Basingstoke in 2002 to be close to my then new wife's family. Best move I ever made. I like the moniker, having MS can sometimes feel like being back to front. I noticed on your profile that you enjoy :book: "God willing. Have you tried audio books? I can no longer read printed books for long (5 Min's @ max). So audio books are a godsend for me. Being disabled & print defective(their words not mine :welcome2:) I get the books free. There is also a charity for disabled people like us called Listening Books. There is a membership fee however all the books (audio on tape CD & MP3) are sent post free. I would say that 70%

of the books are unabridged.(I loath abridged books). Their website is

www.listening-books.org.uk . There is also a good Internet audio book shop. They are called Audible. They do downloads quite cheaply. Their website is worth a look. www.audible.co.uk. I think you will enjoy the forum. There are a good few different forums, even a section for us book lovers, which is well worth a gander. I've not been a member long & have found the people very friendly & helpful. After being isolated for a number of years the forum has helped me to break out of my :eggbreak:. Take care & live well. :wink3: Steviej :drink:

Hello Steviejo

Thank you so much for your warm welcome!

A pastor eh? Do I need to confess my sins? lol

I'm hoping to be able to continue reading (depending eh?) and will keep the details you have given me, for future reference..(thank you)

I hope to hear from you again and am looking forward to speaking the same language for a change ha

Take good care of you

Hi Carole, was a Pastor now just a Pastit. :wink3: Mind you better that than what happened to some of my predecessors, they went off to foreign shores & ended up as Pasties :drink::hello::lmao:. Unfortunately we Baptists do not hear confession.(We are a bit wet that way) Mind you we are still not averse to salacious gossip :welcome2: . Take care & may all your footsteps end up on two feet. :eggbreak: Steviejo :book:

Good afternoon Carole (or whenever). Hope it all went it all went well today.

:wink3: First day back after five weeks I know it won't have been easy. What with the mountains of :book: you have to do, specially as you are not firing on all four cylinders. I hope your colleagues are understanding & can take some of the pressure off you :lmao: . However @ the end of the day you

still have the little blighters to teach. :lmao: (I love kids. Specially roasted with a

fresh side salad). One little word of advice,(I hope you do not think I'm being too cheeky) try to keep the stress levels down. I find that when I get stressed I just :hello: & become this different person. :eggbreak: Reading other posts this is common with people with MS. Anyway I hope you have the chance to wind down & relax this evening :welcome2: . :bye: 4 now. Be Strong Enough to Know When to Say No. Steviejo :drink:
