Hi John,

I don't know whether to thank you or not as you just made this 40yr old man cry at his desk. Guess I've still got some issues to deal with then :-)

It did the same to me - I'm glad I'm home alone...........

I suppose it's a case of where you stand when you watch the video. If you have MS, you know that MS is indiscriminate in who it attacks and what symptoms it brings.

I wasn't upset for my situation, but for all the names (and faces) of those of you who are similarly affected.

It might just help to educate those who have no current connection with MS.

I agree that it may educate people with no understanding of MS, but I've never seen any of these videos broadcast on TV. You think they would be if the aim was to enlighten the general public. Or have I just not been very observant or been watching the wrong channels perhaps? Or do people need to go searching to find them, in which case 99% of the public would never bother, sadly.

About Us

Founded in 2004, MS People UK is a community website and discussion forum by and for people with Multiple Sclerosis as well as for friends, families, supporters and those interested in this disabling condition.

If you’re newly diagnosed or want to ask about possible first symptoms, or if you’ve had Relapse Remit, Secondary or Primary Progressive MS for some time, a welcoming group of fellow MS sufferers is here to chat with you about MS symptoms, diagnosis and treatments.

The atmosphere is friendly whilst being compassionate, supportive and caring. Members also post about a variety of subjects not related to MS, as well as share jokes, talk about their hobbies, have fun, and more.
