Never heard of it and couldn't for the life of me think how it would help as after a trip to the zoo at the weekend you had me thinking of big wild cats

Then I thought perhaps the theory is that the mauling you get from the lion as you approach and try to obtain some mane effectively cures your MS as you are unlikely to survive?

After that I employed some common sense and Mr Google and noticed the key words "Herbal Treatment" in your post & think you mean Lion's Mane mushrooms? I've not heard of that either and can't stand mushrooms so it would take a lot to convince me to give it a go!

It will be interesting to see what the other members reckon.

i've been taking lion's mane (hericium erinacious) for 9-12 months and did find some tiny little inexplicable improvements for a while but no longer I'm afraid. You can get it from Pure Health and the fruiting body part is the best. I'm not sure I'm going to continue but definitely gave me a lift for a while when despite fatique during exercise I would suddenly get function back. That had never happened before. I would always have to rest before function returned. Hope this isn't too late for you to read!

Hello Rosepetals,

You can explain what supplements or diets you may be following that may be helping you, but the forum rules won't allow you to post a link to any commercial sites that may be involved in either the supply or promotion of the same.

I've put you a quick link here http://ms-people.com/forum/index.php?app=forums&module=extras&section=boardrules to the forum rules to help make it a little clearer for you.

We normally discourage anybody from posting their personal email address, for your own protection from any lurking spammers or hackers that may pick it up. Members can message you from within the site itself which is much safer for you.

I'm pleased that something seems to be helping you.

Hi Scully. My Dr. put meon a supplement program she sells. I understand that I can't send you to her site, but at the same time that is probably the best way to explain how they work. It's complicated to even try to explain the mechanice of how they work since I am not an expert like her.

Maybe Im just a sceptic but the only people (other than pregnant women) that I see buying supplements are sick people. The average person eating a healthy diet gets most-all of the necessary nutrients from the food. Save your self money and just eat properly.

If people are looking for something that will provided vitamins and all the mineral requirements for the day try a pint of beer.
