You're not the first and you won't be the last.

You should stop taking the Plegridy now, just whilst you decide what you should do next.

You could give the MS Society Helpline a call (0808 800 8000) for specific advice. Also, give your MS Nurse a call, just to keep them in the picture.

Hope this helps.

Hello,

You do need to see your GP or MS Nurse as a matter of urgency. As stumbler says, the drugs you are on may need to be stopped, whatever you decide to do about the pregnancy, for your own health and peace of mind.

Have you spoken to anybody yet?

Hello MS buddies (and those who just understand what they hell MS is!)   At the moment me and the Hubby are trying for our first baby and I was wondering if there is anyone else in the same (ahem!) position! LOL   It'd be lovely to find out the experience of you all as I'm worried how my MS may restrict me in the future and how this may impact upon being a parent.   Look forward to the convo. . . . . . .

    • Sick of post pregnancy relapse

Feeling thoroughly down and sorry for myself. Having enjoyed the best health since before I was DX during my pregnancy I am now enduring a relapse. Had baby in April and the relapse started may/june. (hard to tell as I've been poorly with anaemia)   Totally sick of the relapse, want to enjoy baby and I'm just not able to. It's purely balance issues, numbness and vision probs (mild but bloody irritating)   Any tips or sympathy gladly received.     LB x
