They'd probably fit Miss Piggy, but would she want green wellies? Would it spoil her image?

It remains to be seen. I never did rate the Muppets very much. What were those two old boys called that used to sit up in the thingy?? (Can't think of the word!!)

If chef's got a paddy on, isn't it likely he'll sling them back at you?

alternatively, Cathy suggested:

Should you risk that if Beef Wellington is on the menu?

Forget that one, you guys are obviously working overtime. :howdy:

Sorry Peta, I think it was me who lost the plot. I forgot to refresh my screen and was answering Dawn's 7.57 entry. I'd spent most of the evening researching a new PC component, and lost track. :howdy:

A good response Hils, but what should you do when it goes lumpy?

Have a good day all,

my mother said you should always beat the lumps with a whisk, but would sieving it be better??

I think sieving it is the only kind answer because these days you would be in trouble with the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Lumps if you beat them. But does this apply to beating eggs too?

Brilliant answer Dawn. I'm still chuckling

The Omelette Society agree it would be ok to beat eggs for this purpose. Scrambled are a no-no though. But what could you put in the omelette?

chuckling It's certainly no yolking matter. But if sticking to whites, would it be considered prejudice?

I didn't really answer your question Hils, but I think you can stick whatever you like in them.

No Hils, it's only senility when one doesn't realise they're being stupid. How about flicking the switch back from suck to blow?

I'm sure that response will just confuse everything further, how about just leaving the eggs thing alone and starting with a fresh question?

Nothing to compare with your hectic life Dawn, just fish, chips & peas followed by a few games of crib. Does anybody else play?

I started a course in apathy once but I couldn't be bothered to finish it.

Perhaps I could do a macrame course. Do you think so or knot?

Great answers Izzy, but I think all these courses are too time consuming, you could be tied up for hours.

Question for Ron - Has Teddy been on a writing course?
