I'm sure it does Dawn, I'm willing to bet if we include Tennis a few times, that will be the ads selected. I want to know why nobody seems to like tennis, I can only assume that they haven't watched any of the Tennis matches I've been watching over the past few days.

Come on all you anti Tennis people, tell us the last game of tennis you watched.

Why don't you like tennis?

PS ok, so I was wrong this time.

Thanks for the tennis reference Hils, I'm still waiting for it to prove me right. Perhaps Marina read the posts and put a stop on any sports ads.

I'm trying to put the posts together to follow your comment to Dawn, but we currently have so many questions without answers, I'm getting lost - Can you help me out?

To be honest Hils, I don't remember the full story-line of Clayhanger. It was a TV series back in 1976 and I remember watching it then. It was on for about 6 months and was set in Five Towns (I think - The Potteries). I remember I absolutely loved the series (I was only 14 at the time!!) so when I saw the books at the car boot I just had to have them.

I wonder if we start talking about literature the ads at the bottom will change to books.

Anyway, what are the tennis matches that have been on over the last few days?

Hi Dawn,

Anyway, what are the tennis matches that have been on over the last few days?

All these mentions of tennis have got to get the tennis ads back again. You wouldn't have seen them unless you have Sky sports channels Dawn. Yesterday was the ATP final from Rome and the WTA finals from whatever tournamemt has been on lately - today is the ATP tournament from Hamburg, and that's on for the rest of the week, as is the ladies WTA tournament from Rome.

I wonder if we start talking about literature the ads at the bottom will change to books.

If it does change, it will only be Am*z*n, and I'm sure we all have enough of their ads thrust at us.

Do you all agree that we switch any ongoing conversations to the Discussion Lounge and get back to answering/asking questions here?

Here's a question for you all, just to get this restarted.

Who wrote On Golden Pond, and what ink did they use?

Don't forget, each answer must be in the form of another question.

I've sent you a PM Angela.

Don't know what ink, but did they write it with a quill pen made from a duck feather?

Very good Izzy

Is that Plymouth as in Ho Ho Ho? That's not the question folks.

I'm still trying to work out how they manage to bowl with crowns, wouldn't balls be better?

Very witty Hils :howdy: message understood. I heard that her main problem, or so I'm told, is that girl don't come - not sure what to make of that, :hehehe: I'm sure there's much more to her than just a puppet on a string, but how can you tell?
